"What's this papa?" Anouk asked her father, Adrianus upon receiving a peculiar present from him. It looked like a flower bulb, but it bore no colours. Anouk gently played with the flower bulb in her tiny hands. It looked more like a crystal that was made to look like a flower bulb than one, but the texture was the same as that of the other flower bulbs she had been planting in her tiny garden. As she sat next to her father on the family sofa in front of the fireplace, she studied the clear flower bulb with a look of curiousity.
